அல்லாவும் யாவேயும் தேவனும் ஒன்றா?

நெதர்லாந்தை சேர்ந்த ரோமன் கத்தோலிக்க பிஷப் ஒருவர் இவ்வாறு கூறுகிறார்.

"Allah is a very beautiful word for God. Shouldn't we all say that from now on we will name God Allah? ... What does God care what we call him? It is our problem,"

அது நல்ல விஷயமே என பல இஸ்லாமிய நண்பர்களும் ஒத்துகொள்கின்றனர்.

பெயரில் என்ன இருக்கிறது? ரோஜாவை ரோஜாவென அழைக்காவிட்டாலும் அது மணக்கவே செய்யும் என்ற ஷேக்ஸ்பியரின் வாக்கியம் கிறிஸ்தவர்களாகிய நமக்கு பொருந்துவதில்லை.ஏனெனில் பெயரில் என்னமோ இருக்கிறது.ஆதனாலேயே கடவுள் ஆபிராமின் பெயரை ஆபிரகாமென மாற்றி மகிழ்ந்தார்.(ஆதியாகமம் 17:5)யாக்கோபின் பெயரை இஸ்ரவேலென கூப்பிட்டு மகிழ்ந்தார்.(ஆதியாகமம் 32:28).சீமோனை பேதுரு என பெயர் மாற்றி மகிழ்ந்தார்.(மாற்கு 3:16)

உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தை வீணிலே வழங்காதிருப்பாயாக; கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய நாமத்தை வீணிலே வழங்குகிறவனைத் தண்டியாமல் விடார்.(யாத்திராகமம் 20:7.)
